A program book of engagement opportunities for members of the community based on the vision that: Temple Israel is… a congregation of learners, a congregation that cares about each other, contributes to our Kehillah collective community, and is committed to the survival of Temple Israel and Conservative Judaism, a congregation that understands and lives by the Jewish calendar and finds magic and meaning in Shabbat and holiday worship experiences, a congregation of Integrity and mentchlikeit: one that is open to ideas, not divisive and is welcoming and friendly. A congregation that is connected to the larger community, committed to Social Action and that understands the value of Tikkun Olam. A congregation that supports Israel and feels connected to the greater Jewish world.
